Because I want to see yours and show you mine. Also because I'm specifically curious to see the extent of Dante's after it was discussed in the thread about the new TBB edition. Mostly because it seemed strange that there wasn't a thread for this already. I took some nice photos of my ASOUE collection for tumblr, and I'm getting sort of excited about photographing my books (there's worse sins than materialism), so I'll probably get around to my ATWQ and Handler collections at some point. If/when I do, I can post them here.

Ha, those little artifacts corresponding to some of the books are pretty cool.

Bear, the dustjacket on TLOC is also an example of the book material I hate.

It's not much more than a year since the previous thread of this kind was posted in, but now that we have complete ATWQ collections, I suppose it's as good a time as any for a change. Here's what my collection looked like the last time I photographed it. How quaint it looks. I'll get pictures of my shelves sometime soon - maybe tomorrow - but there are some books I don't keep on my Snicket shelf, which are books Snicket has contributed to or which are about him but which he didn't write all of. This includes the Snicket edition of The Bears' Famous Invasion of Sicily, the Noisy Outlaws collection, stuff like that. I also owned the Eyeballs, Leeches, Hypnotism book, but I think that is no longer part of my collection, for the reasons outlined. Edit: Okay, here we go. The odd book (particularly my signed copy of Orphans!) isn't present for various reasons, and the image quality isn't great as my camera is in the process of slowly dying, but I think you get a good impression of the whole. And here's the present incarnation. Note that I don't normally store my Handler books with my Snicket ones - they wouldn't fit - and I also have various other texts which Handler has participated in in some capacity but which weren't relevant enough to be displayed here. I also managed to lose my copy of The Composer is Dead somehow a couple of years ago, and I'm not sure how. Nevertheless, I think you get a rough idea of how much Snicket material I own from this picture:

Do I understand this picture to say that you have the whole of ASoUE in the British editions plus the US Wreck? Impressed.

We've got the same edition of TB8 in the top left, I hate the cover, it really let's down the book, and being British I'm stuck with it.

Do I understand this picture to say that you have the whole of ASoUE in the British editions plus the US Wreck? Impressed. That is correct, both the original Egmont line and its succeeding paperback line, and the HarperCollins The Complete Wreck. Plus various spares and stragglers - a French edition of TGG, a signed copy of TPP (quite a few signed books, in fact), various special editions and so on. We've got the same edition of TB8 in the top left, I hate the cover, it really let's down the book, and being British I'm stuck with it. It is an unbelievably terrible cover, and as such I used strategic positioning to carefully censor it. do you have like 12 copies of ?1 Let me see. Eight, maybe? You can't see all of them.

Oh - I knew there was a thread for this somewhere, it just didn't show up when I searched for 'Snicket Collection'. It's certainly an impressive collection, Dante. =) Why do you have two copies of the hardcover LB ATWQ editions? Are they review copies, are they signed, are they for making notes in? Also, do you have two copies of TBB:LE?

Also, do you have two copies of TBB:LE? Let me see. Oh yes, the three extra LB hardcover ATWQ editions - discounting the ones in the just-visible A Complete Mystery box set - is because I won them in the fanart competition in 2014. The two limited-edition Egmont copies of TBB are different; one of them I think is, strictly speaking, a "special edition," and the other is a "leather-bound edition" of which only two thousand copies exist. Signed.

The ones without child journalists?
I may take pictures of my collection: it's actually quite elaborate. No promises.

My ASOUE collection I got for my birthday! I have the rest of the Snicket books at my grandmas house, but kept my ASOUE collection here.
