I was wary to make that rule because of people potentially making them too hard. The only reason I did was because without it I thought people would have no incentive to skip a turn and create a puzzle themselves, but as people seem to be less cutthroat and more interested in just having fun with this, I will eliminated it unless there are any major objections. There isn't a limit to how obscure a puzzle can be, and I don't think Bee's was excessively difficult. The answer was both in Dastardly Documents and on a Snicket wiki. I'm hoping that this will make people spend less time trying to find the most obscure reference and more time trying to find the most creative connections.

Tragedy is writing the next puzzle, so I will again be able to compete. When you write a puzzle, you are welcome to send it to Tragedy and then I can compete as well, but if you are (understandably) uncomfortable with talking to him, then just send them to me and I'll get them to him.

I tried to think of a new one but it's quite difficult for me to find one. I would still like to try though, is it okay if I take a little bit more time, like until tomorrow?

Send it to me or Tragedy when you've written it, or let us know if you decide not to write one.

I tried Lemony, lemon, nevermore tree, and Royal Gardens. Am I even partly on the right track?

I have an idea what this might be about, but who knows, I might be looking at it from completely the wrong angle. None of the passwords I've tried has worked, anyway.
I don't kid myself that I'd ever actually win the competition, but getting to design one or two of the puzzles would be pretty fun.
