its really easy to make it harder than it needs to be, like yeah i dont think it was super hard, but i tried it capitalized and thought maybe there was an official name for the ink mentioned like once that i couldnt find. its also harder to search for lemon in a book by lemony snicket.

i thought these were exclusively asoue references, i didn't even consider atwq.
i also didn't realize the answer would ever uncapitalized or not a proper noun.

I think somewhere in this thread it was said that it could be atwq if someone makes one.

I'm pretty sure there have been uncapitalized awswers before (which i've said before is irritating)

I'm happy to say I was figuring it out before the answer got posted. Based on Nicole's post here, I thought it was InkInc at first.

The answers can of course be from either series. In the original run, there were even some that weren't technically from asoue (I know Stephin Merritt was an answer once for example). There was never anything said that it was only proper nouns either. Obviously it shouldn't be something like "The answer is couch because the Baudelaire's sat on a couch once" but things that are important parts of the plot are allowed, and invisible ink is a good example of that. For capitalization, the general rule of thumb is that it will be how it appears in the books. Proper nouns will be properly capitalized, invisible ink wouldn't be (note I didn't actually check so if for some reason it is capitalized in the series sue me) Other than that, there is no and should be no standardized form. The fun is that you never know what you're going to get. Be creative when making them, and solving them, and we'll all have a great time.

So is the connection just that lemons are used to make invisible ink? Man, I am never going to figure one of these out.

So I'm assuming it's linked to Shane/walton/the shield in some way... How about where to go from there?
