Probably not. If you do some basic research into the original production of TCID, it shouldn't be a problem.

Also I can't tell if people haven't found the source of the kitchen line yet, or if they have and don't know where to go from there.

the answer was Edwin Outwater, the conductor in the original recording of TCID. the quote was a lyric from some they might be giants song, and there was another lyric in that song about violas killing the conductor.

we were probably confused because the password was a real person instead of an actual reference of something in the books.
