So doing what I do best browsing for information. I discovered this little photo recently posted on Tumblr. I take it with a grain of salt. I think they could actually be the real acting/producer/director chairs. Edit: "Sweetie" is the name Barry Sonnenfields wife so thank you for clearing that up! If it is really the eye I love how faithful they are keep towards the design compared to the movie when it literally just got someone with a ball point pen and scribbling it onto Jim Carry's ankle right before filming for the one and only scene they show it. What do you all think of this design or do you think this is just a little thing the art department cooked up just for the chairs or just the logo for the show? The 'Sweetie' may imply that it's authentic, as it's an unusual thing for a fan to come up with- I imagine we'll see more and more pictures as the weeks go by It's exciting to think that this may be a logo- I can't think of a better one. The surroundings suggest Justice Strauss' house, the Baudelaire home or perhaps the Poe home (guesses).

What do you all think of this design or do you think this is just a little thing the art department cooked up just for the chairs or just the logo for the show? In defense of the movie the tattoo looked similar to how it appeared in the illustration from the first book. So it was accurate to that, but not the later characterization. It is an interesting design. I'm guessing the tattoo will look a little bit different from that though. I can see this appearing in the show in the credits or something like that, a logo possibly. I really like the font. I like the tone I'm getting from this so far. I imagine we'll see more and more pictures as the weeks go by It's exciting to think that this may be a logo- I can't think of a better one. Don't get your hopes up too high. There have been times that Netflix has kept shows pretty well covered up. With this show I don't know what amount of secrecy, if any, they're wanting. So it's possible we'll only see things like this up until official advertisements.

Images of chairs and finger nails are exciting enough for me

Any information gets my blood pumped! The could show Count Olaf's shoes and I would be happy! I think that back ground though is just a regular sound stage and not a set location or flat built yet for filming.

No mention of the silent movie title card framing? It's very nice. Very faithful logo, anyway, although I'd guess it's not necessarily an in-universe logo but more of a production motif, largely because of the internal design. In reference to which, the question I'm asking is: What is that inside the eye? There's another image there, that looks like but obviously is not a loop-the-loop with an inverted portrait inside the loop.
Could you post the Tumblr link where you found this at, please?

I posted the link up right now. I actually did not notice the silent age title card art. I wonder if that might how they do the titles for each episode in kinda a silent movie vibe that would be cool. Seeing how they started filming today we might a few more photos. I know the second that we get actual set photos ill be posting those up.

That does look good, and the vfd element looks nicer than in the books, actually.

I posted the link up right now. Crikey, you didn't dig deep enough. From that Tumblr, I sourced the image to the Brazilian ASoUE Facebook fanpage Desventurasemseriebrasil, which is also reporting how they're doing Sunny (an actual baby and a doll, photographed) and the casting of the white-faced women (twins Jacqueline and Joyce Robbins). They've got quite a few pictures of some of the known cast members in Vancouver, too, probably from devoted following of their social media. Nothing officially confirmed, of course, but don't say you weren't warned.

Ohhh that makes sense of this then. http://instagram.com/p/BDof1SeCwzp Edit: As seems to be on the Brazilian page. What a good page they have. I found the twins on Instagram earlier but didn't know who they'd play (silly me).

Woah woah news!
I like the eye design, though I expected something new.
Are those the White-faced women then? They are way older than I thought they'd be (I always assumed that in Olaf's troupe nobody had more than 45), but I'm happy with it anyway.
There's no one in 667 from Vancouver? :c

Ha! So the WFW are twins. Yes, their age is surprising - I had always supposed O recruited them when they were children. Perhaps they are Zada and Zora, as someone suggested a while ago.
