Well, it looks like the Baudelaire's clothing in TBB is indeed their pre-fire wardrobe. Near the end of the footage we see them setting up a towel at Briny Beach in the same clothing. Honestly though, Violet's clothing doesn't bother me in this footage. It feels a bit more muted now and not as noticeably pink, so it's actually kind of growing on me, especially now that I've seen a much clearer image of the overall aesthetic they're going for with the show. Plus, it seems like her clothing colors get darker as the season progresses, so it actually kind of makes sense in a way.
The sets are interesting. The designs are really quite good, Bo Welch has definitely kept his touch, it's about on par if not better than what he did for Burton. It's really an interesting style. Uncle Monty's house and the Baudelaire mansion look like something out of a popup book. I'm really impressed with Aunt Josephine's house. It does like it was designed to be as boxy as the description in the book and looking out that one visible window it seems the exterior has the same wooden siding on the outside as seen in the original illustrations. The wide window itself is pretty interesting, it definitely feels more like a house that would actually exist.
I actually like the acting. The kids definitely seem pretty capable and NPH is actually pretty decent. I wish they'd shown him do a few darker line reads, but for advertising doing catchy one liners is probably better for the broader audience.

Damn. That shot of the children sitting at uncle Monty's car after Monty clearly asking them "Are you okay?" is heartbreaking... (especially when we know this must be after "Zombies in the snow", and that probably Stefano is sitting next to them... and that the next morning, Monty will be...)
I'm really looking forward to the emotions of the overall series.

Also! Notice how Klaus is hiding the book on nuptial law in that shot of Olaf throwing the three of them into his mansion?

The big exteriors we've seen so far look very Wes Anderson and I love that.

I kind of dig that he bought an hourglass online for dramatic effect. It strikes me as very Olaf

I genuinely started making squeaky noises halfway through this video. I think this is the first thing that really gives a sense of what the series is going to be like - and, as others have noted, it looks very Pushing Daisies, which is exactly what I always wanted.
It almost looks like NPH brought a few of his own jokes - "Wrong! It's a list" and "I bought it online" both seem very Barney. Fortunately, not in a way that really spoils anything, and I did find them funny. The online hourglass thing also helps add to the anachronistic setting - there is a world wide web, but that almost certainly won't change that children's primary method of research is library books.
I'm very pleased to note that Sunny's cage looks big enough for Neil Patrick Harris to squeeze himself into, possibly even disguised as a pregnant lady. I really want that to inexplicably be the same cage.

I assume this footage is all from the trailer, so we're basically looking at leaks here. A shame, but I suppose we'll be seeing the real thing soon enough. Relevant to the question of the mystery woman emerging from the trapdoor and Jacquelyn is Ali Liebegott; Daniel Handler is on record as writing a part especially for her, so I've always mentally linked her with Jacquelyn as the latter is a wholly new character. I think, incidentally, that people overread the "our missing parents" line, especially considering that Gustav already has a canon sister and that, frankly, nobody cares about Gustav's parents; I think, in light of the script fragments' indications that the Baudelaire father at least has survived the fire, that the use of "our" here more indicates that the missing parents in question are merely being investigated by Gustav and Jacquelyn, under which circumstances the use of "our" would make sense whilst also being deliberately ambiguous (this being ASoUE). (Edit: I should belatedly add that we know Jacquelyn's surname, and it's not Sebald.) I also noticed the hook-handed man (or at least, his pincer-hooks) in Lucky Smells; I was wondering if the troupe might be used in more books than they originally appeared in, as while their alternating turns are fine for an episodic book series, I think for a TV series it would be strange if they were all introduced at the start and then proceeded to barely appear for the rest of the season (the white-faced women would only be in TBB). The "bought online" reference seems to indicate that the TV show is going for the same anachronistic setting as the original books, a chronological everytime that can't be pinned down to a particular point in recorded history. Good. I'm rewatching the trailer to catch more details... I had forgotten that, in the books, Sunny was not just caged but bound with rope and gagged with tape, and seen in live-action it really brings the cruelty home. There's what appears to be the Baudelaire mansion, judging from the fact that it's a pleasant spot and a trolley runs right past it. I'm not sure where the scene is set involving a car driving over a bridge by night; possibly it's the Baudelaires being driven to Aunt Josephine's clifftop home? There's a bit where Sunny is caged but untied and throwing things from the cage, but I can't quite tell what, it flashes by too quickly. The Egyptian segment I assume is part of an expanded Marvelous Marriage, which the movie also gave us a lot more of as you can't just summarise it away on-screen. The reptile room appears to be bigger than the entire rest of Monty's house, which is a believable exaggeration. The one clip of Patrick Warburton I notice appears to indicate that he is indeed a kind of Greek chorus, present to comment on the action but unseen and unheard. Lots of interesting fashion choices, especially for the Baudelaires, too.

Great to see more! I'm really curious about that woman, especially her relationship with Olaf. We can see her meeting him in the dressing room apparently? And then she's coming out of the trapdoor (maybe the same scene). I love the Pushing Daisies style, as Mortinson said, and I'm happy to see that Sunny seems to be more active this time, even in the episodes of TBB. I really hope to see more of the henchmen, and I love the style of the Baudelaire mansion (and Monty's house too of course) I uploaded some screenshots in the Facebook fanpage. Dante, Sunny seems to be throwing cards!
