Well there are screen caps and gifs on the A series of Unfortunate Events tag on Tumblr if that is any consolation.

No luck on the British Netflix either (the link just gives me a login page). We shall just have to be patient - how tiresome!

HOLY MOTHER OF!!!
That trailer is AWESOME!!! Very different atmosphere from what we've seen so far, lots of references to the books, much darker and mysterious. We have a first look at the Incredibly Deadly Viper, scenes from Hurricane Herman over the lake, the anxious clown, more insight into Violet's performance (she talks about her promise to the parents), a few looks at the puttanesca scene... there seems to be a persecution scene at Monty's house, with Stefano throwing his knife over the children.

I can see the trailer now. What worked for me was going through the link Zort put up, rather than the Netflix app on my PC - that is to say, I'm still using the same machine, so that might not be a problem. The only reason I didn't try that earlier was that I couldn't remember the e-mail adress of the person whose Netflix account I'm sharing. Golden woman in maze: So this person (whom I strongly suspect is Jacquelyn) is in the maze, which we earlier saw Stephano running through. We now know why she's covered in gold paint, and this further suggests that the harpoon gun scene is from TRR, and most likely taking place on board the Prospero. She also tries to enter a phonebox while tied to a tree, which I think is well in line with the VFD we know: Everyone's very serious, sort of odd, and a little incompetent (though less so than the non-VFD adults).
Momento Morris: This is wonderful. There's a shop in the background called 'Memento Morris' Souvenirs'. Also note that in that shot, Olaf is standing undisguised outside The Anxious Clown. I suppose that means we're going to see the process of him sneaking into each new location and deciding on a disguise.
Wonderful Charles: If I recall correctly, the 'terrible childhood' line is more or less directly taken from the book. This actor delivers the line in the perfect apologetic manner.
Longed-for opening line: Possibly the most reassuring thing for me in this trailer. I absolutely love the opening line of TBB. It sets the mood so well for the entire series. I feel all warm inside seeing a variation of it filmed.
Faintest idea: "You haven't the faintest idea" was a pretty good line already, but it's simply great now that I've heard the whole thing. I think this is what NPH means by 'Scary Olaf', and although I can definitely see the character as being played scarier, we're getting into the territory where I'm not sure he should.
Scared Aunt Jo: Are the Baudelaires surprised that their aunt is black? That's the only reason I can think of why they wouldn't ask "Are you our Aunt Josephine?" instead of "Do you live with her?". Also, although I know she's probably just scared of mirrors or something similar, I can't help but see the trailer as though she's had her face switched out overnight: Her relatives don't recognise her, and she's shocked when she looks in the mirror.
Antagonistic Orwell: Dr. Orwell is throwing darts at a picture of Olaf. First of all, I'm glad to see that her character is mostly likely being expanded upon; we never really ot her motivations in the book. Second, I think this suggests the same thing as the 'Memento Morris' point above: That we'll get to see Olaf setting his plans in motion before revealing himself to the Baudelaires. I can just imagine Georgina, sitting there hating Count Olaf for the time he scammed her out of her previous optometrist's practice, just as he waltzes in and makes her an offer she can't refuse to make her join in the plan. That might also explain why Olaf is disguised as her subordinate in that part; maybe that's part of the deal. Heh, I'm getting way too far into the speculative area here, but that's something I can see fitting with the scenes we've seen.

I love the atmosphere of this trailer. I love the look of this trailer. I LOVE when NPH screams because it looks like a lead-in to an "Olaf is genuinely terrifying" moment. The point is, I love this trailer.

and that's the trailer.
