How did you begin reading A Series of Unfortunate Events? What made you pick up "The Bad Beginning?"

Well, I think heard friends talking about it, or, I LOVE to read, and it looked interesting, so I bought the first two, and decided I adored them.

My sister was buying the box set of ASOUE from a school book order. Before that she read most of the books that were from her class. Until she got the box set I saw them and she said I should read them. I picked up TBB and then got addicted... but I wasn't a die hard fan yet. Then I just read one after the other.

You were? At least it worked! My sisters won't read them. I have all sorts of stuff saying, "The World Is Quiet Here.", and in my room, so Amy's like, "No it isn't!"

My little sister got me hooked. But she isn't addicted to ASOUE... In bookstores and sometimes go up to little kids and hand them TBB and say something about the book. It's so fun! and it's so fun saying "The world is quiet here" The confused and freaked out look on their faces crack me up!

Well if they're parent(s) is close by just hand the book to them and if you think the parent won't mind, say something short (Like I say: "The world is quiet here") then run down the aisle before they could say anything to you. It lots of fun! ;D

My friend Michaela had the whole series before I'd even touched TBB. She bought TBB for me for my last birthday. When I started reading it she was on TAA. I had finished the series twice by the time she finished THH. lol. I'm a bigger fan then she is now. I am hopelessly addicted.
