I think Widdershins. What does anyone else think? Definitely the obvious answer. Especially combined with both him and Ally being Swazi and the very fact that they're taking that selfie together (though, of course, their shared nationality could explain it well enough). Indeed, they look alike enough (it's not obvious at first glance, but compare the eys) that I could, within a fictional universe, believe those two are father and son. EDIT:I think Widdershins. What does anyone else think? Unlikely, given that he wasn't in Vancouver when they were filming the Grim Grotto. He only traveled up when they were filming the Slippery Slope and the Penultimate Peril, which makes the Man with a Beard but no Hair a much more likely choice.  Dammit, you're right. Intriguing picture you've got there, by the way. Must have been looking elsewhere when it came up and now it's buried some where in these 31 pages of news discussion holy SMOKES… Well, it looks very good, I must say. Proper and threatening. |

I love Morena Baccarin so much and if she's playing Beatrice, I am just thrilled! Pleased a punch on my end. I wonder who they'll have playing Bertrand? A number of the show's cast and crew started following actor Max Greenfield on social media right around the same time as they did Morena Baccarin.  www.imdb.com/name/nm0339011/:Edit: Of course, unlike Morena Baccarin, we have no actual proof that he's been cast in ANY role on the show. So there is this ASOUE mug that Usman had in his Instagram story, and on the back it says “Faster. Flatter. Better.”
Was this something from the books or..?
The photo is on my IG (@/sunnyvioletklaus) if anyone wants to look at it. I have no idea if this is an inside joke with the crew or something else.

It could possibly be a reference to Barry Sonnenfeld's directing style. He and the cast/crew have stated in multiple interviews that the way he wants the actors to perform their lines (whether he's directing the episode or not) is in a very fast, deadpan mode. Presumably, one of the ways he would go about this would be to tell the actors to perform their lines "faster and flatter". |

I don't know her work, but I'm very happy with this casting simply because she looks rather uncannily similar to the image of The Woman With Hair But No Beard which I had in my mind.

These past two weeks I have actually done work as an extra on a movie she is in. I was there for several scenes featuring Beth (including her final scene last Thursday). Her character isn't "evil", but does appear to be an antagonistic force for the main character - and on one day's shoot she had a menacing and intimidating edge to her. I was convinced! Especially because she was so incredibly friendly when the cameras stopped rolling. I wanted so badly to ask her about Unfortunate Events, but alas, the opportunity never came. |
