I think that dedication in book 6 is a little bit off, because Lemony and Beatrice had known each other since childhood, and Beatrice didn't die until Violet was fourteen. At minimum, they knew each other for nearly two decades before she died.
What I want to know was who played that grand piano.
There probably were more objects, but perhaps they were not all mentioned. It would be a bit dull to read about every single item that there was still a tiny piece of. I don't think many rooms would be intact. We don't know who did it, but they could have set fire to many rooms, even at once if it was a group of people.

The official fire department in the city doesn't appear to be very good - a fact which I suspect was once planned to be important, as indicated in the BBRE, but is now just something we have to accept. It's very clear that the mansion was almost entirely destroyed, and any items that escaped the blaze did so by chance. Perhaps they were sheltered beneath relatively fireproof materials, or themselves constructed of materials unlikely to burn well.
