This was the first ceremony I attended. I remember it well. The winning story was 667 Dark Apocalypse, which featured among other things the conflict between the two most beautiful girls in the world. And the two most beautiful girls in the world were also among the winners, one being Most Notorious and the other Best Artist.
You can see that voting figures were higher in those days.
I believe that missyelliot was Kyle, and Oolaf was definitely Trikip. There may be other hidden identities that I don't know about.

I always have huge debates about wehter or not to combine people who have two 'seperate' identities into one or not. I generally go with my gut instinct....it doesn't really matter i suppose.
Hey, here's a random idea....maybe in place of a summer book club this year, we could read through each story and/or writing to have one the 'best story(telling) award?

Best Profile Decoration was introduced to replace one of them, but I'm not sure which came first. I guess I'll find out as i root through various archives.

I remember when we replaced Most Improved and Most Consistent, but I don't remember why. Do you, Germes or MisterM? I think we just felt they didn't work very well, were rather moralistic. One was replaced by BPD and the other by Best Organiser, which seemed more meaningful things. |
