Hi everyone!
This weekend has been an absolute whirlwind, but I would be remiss if I didn't share this happy news with my oldest friends on the interwebs.
On Friday, my boyfriend finally proposed. Here's how it happened.
I walked in from work and saw these red irises sitting on our table. I thought, hey that was nice of him to get me some flowers during all this craziness.
Next thing I know, he's in the bedroom shutting off the AC when there is a very loud CRASH. I run in, only to find that our blinds fell off the window and onto his face. After ensuring his safety, I notice a slender white bottle, almost like a makeup bottle, on our dresser that was not there that morning.
"What is that?" I ask.
"Oh I got you some jewelry cleaner at the store," he said.
Me, being a jerk, says "For what?"
"Screw this, go to the other room and sit down," he says laughing.
So out I go to the living room, waiting patiently.
He walks out.
"I'm sitting," I said.
"You're sitting? Good. I'm kneeling. *presents ring* Will you marry me?" he asks.
"YES!"
