Hello!! I'm Lily and I became an asoue fan after watching season 2 in 2018! (for some reason the cliffhanger at the end of TSS is what finally pushed me to read the books and I fell in love from there!) I've been posting my asoue art on my Tumblr since 2018 but I thought I'd finally make a thread here as this is the main Snicket hub on the web! I only caught the tail end of the Snicket hype in 2018 but I feel lucky that I at least I experienced some excitement during the build up to season 3 but now that things have quietened down I really miss engaging with the asoue community, I don't know any fans irl so I'm hardly able to talk about it with anyone sigH This is my first time posting on the forum so I hope everything looks okay, I'll start off with a Violet drawing I did last year that I haven't grown to hate yet. This is amazingly beautiful. And I start to think that there is going to be my chance to win the award for best artist because there are no competitors. Welcome to Dark avenue! It is good to have someone with us who knows how to do and wants to show art. In my case I want to show it, but I don't know how to do it. But this is beautiful! Thanks for sharing and for making me jealous.

Baudelaires + fire Wow ... They are really angry here. It looks like a cover of a book on which the Baudelaires will take revenge. This print made me think: wouldn't it be interesting to have a fanfic in which Olaf survives, the Baudelaires go to the island alone and when they leave there are they ready to put an end to Olaf? No, that wouldn't be interesting. But this print is very cool. |

Oh thank you!! your comments are so nice to read <3 I feel like i still have a long way to go with perfecting my art techniques but i’ve definitely picked up some good info on the best way to improve, so i’m always up for talking about that if ur interested!! |

Hi all! Just checking in to drop some new artwork and I saw that Jean Lucio nominated me for Dante's best artist award, thank you so much! It means so much to me and I'm so excited to take part, I feel like I'm a bit late to the party but I'll be following along from now on! Here's my latest asoue art: A Beatrice at the opera sketch, Quigley doodles, and some drawings of my sugar bowl gen faves as kids! I'm hoping to draw ad finalise my interpretation of the other two Quagmires too!    |

I really want to thank you for creating something like this. The childhood of the adult characters of ASOUE fascinates me, and it is very interesting to see how these characters create a personality with each of their looks. I am especially grateful for Beatrice, who here looks like a girl full of great expectations, and this image will be the one I will take with me when I read about her childhood and in my own Fanfic "Untie My Silence Knot". And when I see your drawing of Beatrice totally frustrated with herself after the operation, and completely fragile and susceptible to errors ... It seems that these pictures fit perfectly in my Fanfic. (Maybe I just imagined Beatrice a little older on the night of the opera).
