I have been doing some research into the fandom outside 667DA, and I have discovered a serious shipping problem. The classic nasty ships are Violet/Olaf and Violet/Klaus, but there is also Nero/Carmelita, Esmé/Mr Poe, Klaus/Carmelita and Esmé/Violet. These ships are either paedophilic, incestuous or just plain weird, and are only a handful of the terrible pairings in the fandom. Post any other ghastly ships you discover here.

People will ship anything if they have too much time on their hands. There's probably someone somewhere shipping Olaf/Hungry lions or Fiona/Queequeg or Justice Strauss/Very deadly viper etc etc

667 even used to host a Weird Ships Week purely to encourage people to write fanfics featuring unlikely, offensive, or outright bizarre pairings; I personally recall some such ships which were quite close to the jokes baudelaiire moots. (Although with that said, Esmé and Mr. Poe or Klaus and Carmelita seem comparatively harmless when set against the incestuous or child-abusive pairings, and I don't know that I would have drawn an equivalence in that respect.)
