I didn't give an exact time because it doesn't really matter and I can't guarantee exactly when I will be free to do so. But let's say... between 9 and 10pm GMT. In other words, in roughly ten hours.

Nominations have now closed. My thanks to everyone who nominated, and particularly those who filled out the nominations in the closing hours and minutes.
Sometime tomorrow, the formal polls will open, and will run until the morning of the 25th. In order to protect the secrecy of the result, the approach I intend to take is to remove the poll from each voting thread on the closing date, after taking careful note of the final results. This is one of several approaches taken during past 667 awards, and I feel it is the tidiest, albeit with the drawback of being the least verifiable. But you trust me, don't you?
Also opening tomorrow will be a formal call for banner artists and presenters for the awards ceremony. I'll be looking to have a full set recruited before polls close on the 25th. More information will follow tomorrow. See you all then.

And that is that. Voting has now closed, and the appropriate disclosures have been made to all presenters and banner artists. (Should any presenter or banner artist believe that they haven't been properly notified of the result, please PM me and we'll sort it out.)
In exactly one week, the awards ceremony will begin, and with three days of mourning planned. This gives all presenters and banner artists a week to complete and polish up their material, which I hope will be ample time. For everyone else, all you can now do is wait for the end. My thanks to all who nominated and voted; we've had a decent turnout this year.
