I think with the launch of PFB and an ongoing pandemic, there is no better time to discuss this. I mean... I've been attending a lot of funerals recently... There were so many that I found myself thinking about it. I had the privilege of making a video with photos and music of a very dear friend who died because of COVID 19. I can say that the video was very good, and the funeral was by Zoom and it allowed people from all over the world (my country) to watch the funeral speech and the video I made. A mutual friend was interviewed and everything he said about my deceased friend was good and even funny. I don't believe we remain mysteriously alive after death. I believe there is hope of resurrection in the future for those who are dead. So I don't think I'm going to somehow watch my own funeral. But I know people I love will ser it. And I would hate it if the video they played about my life was poorly done. I mean, my life has been great, and I wouldn't want it to be portrayed as full of sync errors or boring music. I even thought about starting to work on a video myself to be used at my funeral... But I found it strange... But, what would you like and what would you not like at your funeral?

A friend of mine was once upset by an excessively cheerful memorial service she had been to, and I said I intended my memorial service to be gloomy. And she said 'Oh, I hope you die before I do!'.

Cheerful!
I'm fully disappointed that I'll never be able to attend my own funeral, would be totally curious to know what everyone said. I want everyone to have a bangin' free lunch and a rave on me tbh. Obviously funerals are sad, but if you live a long life and don't die in tragic circumstances, hopefully they can be more of a celebration of someone's life than something upsetting.

You could always do that thing Ross did in friends and pretend you're dead and see how your funeral turns out.
I'd like to have my funeral on the moon.

I think that I shall write my will in a very obtuse and confusing way so that most of the funeral is spent arguing over who got what.

im not sure about the specifics but i'd like a legacy of some sorts so im not forgotten, in whatever aspect that might take.

I'd like to have the cup song by Anna Kendrick played at my funeral. Just so I can have one last f you to life.

I want ‘We Will All Go Together When We Go’ by Tom Lehrer played at my funeral. Should add a certain something to the day’s entertainment. (For those who don’t know it: m.youtube.com/watch?v=TIoBrob3bjI )

Lehrer is great. Should put the fun back in "funeral". I'd like Daniel Johnston's Funeral Home to be played at my last rites, and hopefully some will sing along. Puts things in perspective in a hopeful rather than mournful way. - www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErPxPVuazaw
