Hello all,
I've been able to get in in contact with Gabriel Hardman (who did storyboards for the film) and he has graciously agreed to answer our questions about his work and the movie in general.
Feel free to post as many questions as you like below, and I will gather them up, send off the most appropriate ones, and post his responses here.

The scene of the destruction of Aunt Josephine's house - how detailed was that on the stroryboards?
We know there were significant changes during pre-production and production of the film. Did you have to redo the stroryboards because of this?
Did you draw on the illustrations in the books in any way?
What other films have you participated in creating storyboards?
Is drawing storyboards and drawing comics somehow related?
What was the process like for you being invited to participate in creating the storyboards for this film?
Are storyboards used for the director to decide camera angles? How detailed is the information for you to create the stroryboards? Do you follow film recordings?

gothicarchiesfan is back at it again Thank you so much for organizing this interview!! questions, questions... Jean already came up with so many good ones. - At one point in the film's production, some scenes from the film were being rewritten daily. How many of these scenes did you have to storyboard? Were you ever asked to storyboard two "competing" versions of a scene? - Were you ever given the chance to work with Daniel Handler? If you were, what was the experience like? - Likewise, how closely did you have to work with Emmanuel Lubezski? Did you try to incorporate elements of his style into the storyboards?

Were you a fan of ASOUE before you started work on the movie? If so, how did it affect the way you drew the storyboards?

On a film with such elaborate set designs, how much info were you given on the set layouts and locations before you started work? If none, how do you go about choreographing action without knowing what the space will look like?
Was there one project that helped you learn things about storyboarding you didn't know before? Was there anything you learned from working on ASoUE?
What would be your best advice for somone starting out storyboarding?

What's your favourite part of storyboarding? How did you first get into storyboarding? Were there any scenes that you storyboarded that weren't in the film, and if so, what were they? If given the chance to storyboard the later books, how might you do it?

Everyone seems to have asked most of what I was curious about. Can't wait to hear back!
