Theres no reason why we can't change it as lots of us have written multiple stories this past year?

I strongly disagree. The best writer is different from the best writing. The same person may have written several writings, but the prize is for the writing. This is a similar award to "best picture" at the Oscars. I myself will suggest the 667 asylum, which is a writing made by two people and an illustrator.

Best Writing is made up of Best Writer and Best Story, I guess we could go back to Best Writer. What do you think Ms. B.? Tbh I'm not going to get hung up on the semantics of 'writing' and 'writer', this is a forum award let's keep things in perspective. If you want to nominate a specific work by someone go for it, if you want to nominate a single member in general, that's fine too.

I Nominate myself for everything I wrote in the last year (Black Ink, Tales From a Quiet World, Eris Quod Sum, The Quantum Possiblity Engine, and To My Kind Editor).
That clears that up....
Edit : I'd rather just be nominated for the first two, but each to their own)...

Unless we want to change the rules, a 667er issue credited to the editor, so Zortegus would recieve the nomination. A seperate article from within the issue would be created to its author. Theres no reason why we couldnt do that though.

I think giving it to Mr. Zortegus alone would be for the best(assuming it wins the voting) for two reasons. 1. He revived it and brought all of us together. 2. Most people who participated in the 667er have already been nominated. That might making voting a little difficult. The award for best writing goes to creative efforts. One should not give the editor first for his role as editor. However, if the editor participated in the creative part, (and in this case he participated) the editor along with the other columnists wins the award for the joint effort. As I have already said, I defend the idea that the prize is given to writing. Even if a set of works by the same writer is awarded, I think the basic idea remains. (I think that would be similar to awarding a book of short stories).
