I'd love to get feedback on this - it's pretty radically different from the old design, especially when making posts, but I like it. Esmé's meme is meh is the brainchild behind the design and all the hard work - so feel free to comment here, and we can reflect/test/troubleshoot changes in kind of a balanced and considered way, hopefully ultimately giving the best user experience. I love the new banner and the general layout, but orange on dark gray is really hard to read, especially for long posts. Links also aren't very readable. It could use a light mode.

the post above me is not hard to read, but the post above that is, a little bit. and yes, the mobile version is just on the default white and blue.

the text is pale, and its on a pale background. One of my favourite things about the design before was that the background was so dark that all text colours were easy to read on it. (And hey, it's called 'Dark' avenue for a reason, right?)
But that aside, I love everything else about the design.
And good to see that I'm so well liked.

i do think a lighter colour would be better contrast for the text (pale purple that is almost white) for text

Great job, Zorty! For me the text is still quite readable, but it would probably be a little easier if the text's-background-brightness was a bit darker... And perhaps with a slightly bigger contrast going from post to post (as it is, the difference is very slight).
The only thing I am unhappy about is the new emojis =((( BRING BACK THE OLD EMOJIS
