Rereading this series for the first time in 15 years, now with my children. We noticed that on the top of the first page of chapter 2, there is a letter "C" in italics floating a bit above the chapter title. I don't know if this is a print error, and knowing LS's penchant for hidden messages and codes (which is a pivotal plot point of this book particularly), I wasn't sure if this was part of a hidden message. But I couldn't find anything on the internet about it at all, and couldn't find any other letters in the book that were hanging out of place. Anyone else know anything about this? It's American edition with original cover, but not the first printing. Does the same thing appear in other editions that people have?
