I'd like to be convinced on whether I should side with Quigley and Duncan on who Violet should end up with as I am writing my own headcanon but I don't know what to decide. Convince me!!

Obviously I've always rooted for Quigley and I don't understand why anyone would root differently. I mean, they kissed, they were separated from each other, and the story ends without a reunion. That's enough for me to dream about them reuniting, getting married and having children under fake names and living new lives while Violet is pregnant with her third child.

Love triangles are overrated.

Love triangles are overrated. yeah but for the author it allows them to explore both avenues and see which one is more viable for their headcanon

Violet and Duncan can hardly be called a romance. (It's probably the crabs that spoilt the mood).

Yeah, Violet and Duncan don't have much chemistry. I think some people like to ship them because he's the only opposite sex peer she ever interacts with before Quigley.
