I'd like tomorrows clue to give us a shock just like the "Moustache" clue. I'd love it if said... "The next book definatly will NOT be called _____________" .. Hah, I'd laugh SO hard. But yeah, I'm thinking tomorrow's clue will be special.
I think the next three clues will help us identify why Lemony was missing, and where he went, and will tie up all the nice little mysteries. OOORRRRRR *brainwave*
Perhaps, Lemony hasn't written the 13th book yet. And he goes missing at the end of writing Book 12... So, he's written B12, and at the end of the book he gets kidnapped or w/e... and we find out why he's missing. Then that may catch up Book 13, and it may be in the present tense... or very shortly after the present tense.
But we need to find out all the mysteries of TNN first. I wonder what will happen when we have VFD lit up in gold. Do you think a new page will come up? I dunno.. it's intruging.
Only three days to go folks. It's kinda sad.

Okay, I'm changing my theory. I think we'll get the title when the V.F.D. insignia is lit up. If we get the title at all from them.

Yeah. Like as a reward? That would make sense.

The man we just got today looks like he's in a sailor suit. . . Widdershins?. . . Phil?

He reminds me of John McCririck. Well, his sideburns anyway.
It could well be Widdershins though. Sea captains tend to have big sideburns.

I'm inclined to agree, and I doubt that Widdershins would get rid of his trademark moustache (it's the only distinguishable feature Lemony's given us of Widdershins; it would be impractical to take it away). Edit: Oh, I never really looked at it before now. That burning mansion is beautiful.

Does anyone else find it interesting that they alluded to a clue from so long ago - and that particular clue? And since today's task was almost certainly the last UCQuiz, do you think that tomorrow's clue will be, perhaps, a little special (being the very last clue)? Or does it merely allude to the approaching release of B12? That is interesting. That's the clue they gave us right before the site opened, and I think it's to create a general atmosphere of foreboding and mysteriousness. I had to try the quiz twice to get through, even though I put the exact same answers each time. That's certainly an odd-looking man. He doesn't look quite like Olaf, but then again he's seemingly wearing thick makeup, or possibly a mask. My first impression was that he had a mask on.

I think tommorow's clue will reveal the title...as there are two major investigations left which will be the two pieces left, and then investigators on the site still won't know the title when they are on a site which is suppose to investigate into the name of the title!!! Besides several red herring titles have been proposed in small clues, so why can't the real title be revealed in one...

The TNN.com people probably know that we've been spoiled as to the real title, so they just might post it on their site. They've already had clues that seemed to allude to what we were dicussing.

I don't think these people have all have thick white makeup on, I just think they're pale. It was more fashionable in these times to not have a tan, and we can pretty well suppose these people are the upperclass - they just try to stay out of the sun without protection such as hats and parasols et cetera, that's all. Thus: pasty. Perhaps the red spots on the woman's face are in fact sunburn.

Heh, they sound rather like me. Still, such whiteness beyond whiteness does look rather like make-up on some of them.
And I still think they'll give away the title in the last task - or at least, I think that they should.

Since the title's been revealed to some, they might as well put it on the site, even if they do so before the official release time.
And I was under the impression that the woman was wearing blush on her cheeks, although she could be sunburned.

I actually think it's blush too, I was just running with my idea. I like to think of theories, even if I don't always believe them.
I think they should give the title in the last task, but not before. The point of the site as we originally understood it was to discover the title, and I want them to carry through with that, and it should be on the last day to make it somewhat special and climactic. It would be neat to be able to say "and we didn't find out the title until the day the book was released!" Also, if they don't give it to us by then, I'm not sure how long my willpower will hold out and I might give in and go read the thread. I'd like not to do it that way, as a matter of pride.
