To me "investigation" implies that we'll get links to other sites, where we'll have to find clues. Or directions to look for things in the books, like with the TSS "many individuals" clue.
(New page syndrome!)

Both of those ideas would be fun. I'd enjoy them more, I think, than Hunt-For-Lemony-Snicket-style mini-games, or difficult riddles. Also, anything time-based is evil.

Yes, time based would suck, like you find the first clue then have to wait a week until they give you another clue.
I like the idea of searching around the internet, that would be fun and keep most people interested.

In the meantime, I've been checking the B&N page as well as Lemony Snicket's official website. None of them have anything new yet, but perhaps they will after the Nameless Novel update.

No, in Arizona it should be 3:00 (or are you Pacific? 2:00). It will be 4:00 here in the Midwest. I can't wait for tonight! Maybe those of us in the US can have the whole thing figured out while the rest of the world sleeps! You live in the Midwest!! Only...five hours fours for us... THAT IS SOOOOOO LONG!!!!!

Well I am east coast....
Well for all we know, the person who said they emailed the president of Harper- Collins, Could have made the email up, so lets not jump to conclusions of it being updated today or and other day for that matter.
Furthermore, all of this hype about the next book is getting overdone. I know everyone is excited about the release and publishment of the next book in the series of 13, but no matter how lunatic everyone goes over this, it is not going to change the date of when the book is release in book stores and coffee stores nationaly...

Firstly, A. is a very reliable and trustworthy member, who wouldn't make up a story like this. The e-mail addresses were up and posted for anyone to confirm her story.
Secondly, we are hyped because we don't know the title of the next book, but may get it today. This is a significant piece of information, and therefore excitement is justified.
Thirdly, you double-posted. I've seen you make multiple consecutive posts in other sections too, and let me tell you that it's not allowed (no matter what kind of an example certain irresponsible members may choose to set). I have merged your posts, and I'm giving you an official warning; now go read the rules, both in Alarming Announcements and Sardonic Series.

I've been out of the game for a while and I forgot some of the rules around here and for that I am sorry.

Anyway, back to the waiting game. Only about 4 and a half hours left until their deadline and still nothing.

Do I really have to wait until the thirteenth or until 2:00 in the morning? Or is it 2:00 in the afternoon? *sigh* Gawd, the pressure's TOO MUCH!!!!!

I'm getting a "Cannot Find Server" error for TheNamelessNovel.com. Now, either my computer's decided to break (I don't think it has, as I'm posting here), or they've taken it down temporarily while they update the site.
...Maybe.
