I don't remember that one.
EDIT: I Googled "hunt for lemony snicket" and found it. I remember now. It was on unfortunateevents.com and it was hard. I didn't really participate because it was based in the UK.
I don't think thenamelessnovel.com will be that hard and they probably won't give away a prize, just the title.

There were loads of games that entitled you to clues for some final round or something. It was a lot of fun.

I remember playing those games. They're fun, but I think the contest has been over for a very long time.

Yeah, it was a few years ago. It WAS very tricky, I couldn't do the wordsearch game because it wouldn't let me select letters or anything,

Are these games the same ones as the arcade on UnfortunateEvents.com? If so, I'm playing them right now.

Unless I'm really confused, those are indeed the games.
I remember getting very addicted to "Bitter Sweets" the game where you have to snap up candy. And I liked the big map in "The Hunt For Lemony Snicket".

Yeah, they were the games. Can anyone figure out how to do the wordsearch one? I'd like to know.

Yeah, they were the games. Can anyone figure out how to do the wordsearch one? I'd like to know. You click on the starting letter of a word, and then drag a "line" across the other letters. If you see what I mean. In summary: Click and drag.

Okay: I'll try that next time I go on it. I'm getting addicted to Wimblegong at the moment. My top score is 676. I think that's bad.

do you think that we will all find out the title at once and it will be on the page. or it will be a puzzle and we will do it alone

I think that there will certainly be some kind of puzzle... It said that the "investigation" "begins" on July 12th. If they just slapped the title up on the front page, then the investigation wouldn't even exist.

Perhaps we'll be directed to certain pages of earlier books in order to find words/letters for the title(such as: "the fourth letter of the tenth word on Page 45 of The Slippery Slope"). (The answer to my arbitrary example is "e" by the way)

I'd certainly enjoy another page-puzzle in the style of the TGG clue. I thought that was fun (although "injustice" stumped me).

That would be fun except... I don't have all the books. So I wouldn't be able to solve the whole thing probably. Actually now with oo, I'm only missing 2 of the books.
