Ah yes, about that earlier post. Well I KNOW that one of the Baudelaire parents is still alive, well at least survived the fire owing to notes at the end of the bad beginning rare edition, and if u don't have it u might not understand.

Well, u all should know that my name really isn't Jacques... Anyway, in the notes it mentions Mr. Poe wearing a top-hat and how it can be useful for hiding things(theory anyone?) Later it mentions the Fountain of Victorious Finance+Fickle Fountaina and how readers of book the seventh will know that fountains contain space for hiding things(and people) ah-hem"And I imagine that the innards of a fountain would be particularly comforting to someone who has just survived a fire" What fire happened recently as of tBB? Baudelaire fire! And Lemony says is book 10 that the dead men in the Baudelaire lives such as their father and Jacques would "rise up never" so I think we can safely conclude that Mrs. Baudelaire(Beatrice if u've read my tons of evidence on the beatrcie thread) is the survivor. SOme other volunteer fact detective(not me) concluded that Jacques rescued her from the fire, but I haven't got any solid evidence that that's what happened.

Perhaps it could be J___________ "Sir" [glow=red,2,300]"Sir" is not his first name its just what people call him becuz they cannot pronounce his last name. but it could be a posibility since we do not know either his first or last name [/glow]

I doubt it. Sir is not his last name, it is more or less a title. His name is probably Gyf, Huf, or Tu. and neither of those are j or s. I wish we saw his face and knew his real name.

J: What I meant was no one knows Sir's exact last name so that may be just what they call him.

Sir can not be Bruce. Does it not describe in TSS, Bruce being tall?
