I think it's pretty, but it does seem kinda bright. It's weird how starting at number six, the ASOUE books' spines have been getting brighter in color.
OMG IT MSUT MEEN SEOMETING OMG!!1 *goes to post theory*

Stop insulting newbies, please. If you remember, you were one too at one point. Anyway, I think that Lemony just chooses the colors at random, but the colors may have something to do with the contents of the book.

I insult stupid users no matter how many stars next to their name they have. Right then I was insulting people who post theories backed up with nothing but their overactive imagination. And I was here since the beginning (just not with a registered name, I was always a guest and left for huge chunks of time). Before it, actually, I was at UE.net.

Fine. Still, insulting people is not nice. Even if you are completly and utterly right. (I hate it when there is no theroy to back up a thread.)

Ooooooookay then. Well, back to the color. I don't see how there could be a pattern to them. Perhaps it will all make sense later. But I kind like the color, but it doesn't really go with the others. Oh well.

Oh, and I found out about the color from a different thread.

I'm not trying to start a fight, or get on your nerves Madamluna, but it doesn't matter how long anyone was anywhere. There still is no right to make fun of someone's writing. If you don't like their writing, and they get on your nerves, you could just tell them in a nice way, like, "Can you please fix your grammar?" or something like that. There is no need to make fun of somebody, even though someone thinks it's funny. It gets on a lot of other peoples nerves. Someone told me politely to fix my grammar, and I did. They didn't make fun of me, either.

Exactly correct kjsnicket29. But anyway, I really think that maybe Lemony is trying to express that the books with lighter colors with the exception of TVV may have important info about V.F.D. in them.

It has absolutely nothing to do with anyone's writing skills, and I apologize if you thought it was directed towards you. I wasn't directing that at anyone, really. omg b& 4 jew joek

I'm just glad it wasn't directly pointed at me ::)Well, I mean, it just seems....a little...HARSH, I guess is the word. No offense at all, but SOME people, (and I think most people that happen to be new:( )THINK you're just making fun of n00bs, or whatever you call them. I'm just saying that when you just, sorta joke around, and stuff, they might get mad and think you're pointing it directly at them. But I'm not mad, I'm just saying....er....be careful

I resolve to be a kinder, gentler Luna! Hey, my flying pig came in the mail just now.

Back to colors: I supposed that The Grim Grotto's spine would be yellow, because that hasn't been used yet. The strange part is that I thought books 9 and 10 would have yellow spines. Maybe I'll be right with my yellow prediction for the next book... Lemony's moving away from the original dark color scheme. The colors of the spines, for the most part, seem to match the border around the cover picture. Ever noticed that?

I think either Light Green, or Yellow. But what clors could be associated with a Grotto?
