That's what I'm going to do. On Sept. 21, I will make sure my mother goes to the bookstore and gets TGG whilst I'm at school. A thousand times I shall remind her. I'll use the pitchfork as a last resort.

I'll use the pitchfork as a last resort. Same here, except I feel it's my duty to go too, I'm still hoping that something will happen and there won't be school that day or I'll be sick or something. Cause if you think about it, I'll have to wait for school to be over until I get to read it anyway. I might as well go and get it. Idon't really want to skip school, I hate have to make up work. |

Oh, that about gave me a heart attack. For a second I thought I had a dentist appointment the day TGG comes out, But I have it the Tursday afterwards. That would've been aweful!

if im at school, ill just have my mom get it and bring it to school and tell the office that i need it for school. then i could read it in study hall!

Well....you guys have changed my mind about preordering it! Anyways....when the tenth book came out, right after I was dismissed from school, my mom said, "Surprise!" and she just.......handed it to me...she's so thoughtful. ;DShe knows I would beg for it afterwords.  She had to get off work a little early though, to go and buy it for me. |

i almost went crazy when the 10th book came out. cauze i didnt get it till 2 days after it came out! I hope its different for TGG!

i was not allowed to read the slippery slope for a while, beacuse my dad thougth i did not have respect ior something! i was ticked, but he gave it to me before i was allowed to have it! (i'm gonna get my mother to get the grim grotto for me! tee-hee!  ) |

Not saying that WalMart sucks, but I'm just saying it would probably be best if you went to a close by Barnes and Noble or Borders. I got mine at Barnes and Noble, or so my mom told me.
