He would be a horrible person to be lost with, period.

He would which is what I was saying, but unfortunately now he's not lost. As of before the Baudelaires fled the Carmelita he was only minutes from Hotel Denouement.

But I don't think he knows where in the hotel to look. I have to check my friend's copy of TGG again.

He is a bit tired, I hope. Where in the hotel to look? His aim is just to burn the whole place down he really doesn't need to know where to look...

No, Quig-gal, NOT awesome. And welcome to 667.
And yesh, I do realize that Olaf is just sick and tired of the same routine over and over.

*Gasp* I hope not!!!!! Then he would just go and kill the Bauds and that'd end the seris too early and...... I'd have to go strangle Lemony, or Handler, or whoever I could find first.

...as if they exist as seperate entities. Right.

I doubt that will happen. Or if it does, Olaf will then be put in jail by mr. poe or something, some completely unexpected event that'll just throw all of us.

If the series ends with only twelve books, I will do what violetbaudelaire13 would do. Only not with, of course, separate entities.

If Olaf did manage to get the fortune in book 12, he'd have it quickly taken from him somehow, surely.
And as for book 13, it might just not be included in a boxed set, or it might be packaged with the UA or something else along those lines.

Even if Olaf did get the fortune in B12 - and I don't know how he'd do that; his last suggestion was that they take one of the Baudelaires hostage and force Poe to give them the fortune - then he'd probably still try and murder the Baudelaires, who have knowledge of many of his recent terrible crimes. B13 could basically be about them fleeing from him constantly.
