That's a great cover. I like how we get just a glimpse of the henchmen behind the children, and how the names of the books are written on the plates.
I don't need this item, but it's still a very nice cover.

I assume this is the TBB scene where the orphans are serving puttanesca to the troupe(or maybe they're clearing the table). The blue and orange dresses are consistant with the Marvelous Marriage picture's depiction of the white-faced women, and the guy on the right looks like Hooky, with his brown coat and sort of square-ish head.

love it. and it comes out on my B-day, cool. so we are to assume that the loathesome library 2 will have 7 books.

Wow, it's pretty. I wonder what type of box it comes in?

Looking at it now, I think that it probably is the dinner scene from TBB. The window behind them looks a lot like some of Olaf's windows from the movie (which I thought were amazingly cool).
The second volume of the Library might have 7 books, or they might leave Book 13 out (which is what they seem to be doing with the three-book box sets).

What's up with all the variations of the book box sets though?!
Next, they'll release like Book 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 set and call it... "The Odd Oddity" or something stupid like that.
Although I'm not complaining. The art cover is very cool.

I don't need it as I have 3 Bad Beginnings already, but I wouldn't mind getting that.

It reminds me a lot of the artwork from the puzzles and Catastrophic Card game, but is it Brett Helquist's work? It doesn't quite look like it is.

I must admit, I thought the same thing. I'm pretty sure it's Helquist's, though, looking closely.

It credits Helquist as the illustrator, but it does look a bit different from his usual style. However, his style varies somewhat from book to book; sometimes he uses brighter colors, for instance.

I think they could credit him as the illustrator of the BOOKS, but the cover could have been drawn by some other artist.

Thats a cool cover, I like it. I'll end up buying the Loathsome Library, as I only have books 7-9, then I'll buy Gloom Looms, and B13. Thanks for posting this Eye of the Count.
