Book 12 Title Rumor/Speculation Thread

In book the 10th, Lemony writes a letter to his sister telling her he will meet her at the Hotel Denountment. At the end of book the 11th Kit picks the children up. And I presume to take them to this hotel. So one thought I had was that book the 12th or 13th will take place in present tense. Lemony meeting the children and so forth.

Though this seems a little more likely for book the 13th.

It probably has but that seems quite accurate. It's highly likely lemony will meet the children.

I know this has been said a million times but the Omnious Omnibus is on Amazon.com, has it alwasy been there or was it just on Amazon.co.uk. and why would they have another box of the first three(if you add up the # of pages it =608 like the Omnious Omnibus) but it could be the same # of pages because this book deals with events and people in books 1 2 3 and what the mean to VFD

I believe it's one book, but with the first three books in it.

We don't know what the books are called we're just predicting. And we think that Lemony sees his sister because of his letter in tss and the fact that Kit is now heading to hotel denouement at the same time as Lemony.

Also, I thought, that Kit can't be the Baudelaire mum... I mean they saw her and heard her voice in the car, and none of them went "OMG!!!!!!!! IT'S MUM!" or whatever the Baudelaire equivelent is...

Obviously. Lemony clearly said Kit was a woman they'd never seen before.

I'm going to play devil's advocate for a moment: The Baudelaires didn't recognise Kit as their mother because she was cleverly disguised in some way. And she pretended not to know who they were...the K Baudelaire theory really no longer works. I'm glad I never seriously bought it.

All books' titles were practically named after places. Room, Mill, Academy, Elevator, etc. Except for the first book which is "Beginning". Maybe, the last book will be NOT a place. However, Book 12 can be a place again.

I think the last book will be called the deadly denoument, because a denoument is the climax of a novel series where everything finally comes together. the last book would have a double entrede title, refering to the hotel and the conclusion of the series.


Or maybe it's just 'The Eerie End'. Who knows...
