It's DENOUMENT, I believe. By the way : It's pronouced day-new-maw, F.Y.I. It means rising action. You're both wrong, it's denouement. Don't forget the e. And it was a link for somewhere, I went to it and it said the audio was coming out april 24th or 28th. Can't exactly remember which. Anyway, I can't remember where it was posted... I do remember it was either one of those dates and there was a debate about it. Ask Tyler he was posting in that thread too.

Everything's a rumour at this point. It'll probably be months before we find out.

They're not even rumours. They're just guesses, pure and simple.
"The Lagubrious Lexicon." There. That's a guess. It carries just as much wait as "The Lousy Lodge" or the "Perilous Plane"-no more and no less...
Actually, I might write the Lagubrious Lexicon. The Baudelaires are imprisoned by Greek Professors and forced to translate the Iliad...

It isn't alliterated, it doesn't even make sense, yet it just comes back again and again. Still, I reckon it'll be something to do with towns or something.

Look everyone-
Denouement means 'conclusion of a series, where everything is wrapped up' and we still have one more book before the denouement of ASOUE. So it'll more likely a book the thirteenth title.
And The Perilous Plane wasn't a theory, it was an idea of a fanfiction which hopefully will soon be updated with Chapter Nine.

Why do people keep saying The Deadly Denouement and The Fatal Finale? Finale and Denouement basically the same thing, so why would Handler use it twice?
de·noue·ment n.
The final resolution or clarification of a dramatic or narrative plot. The events following the climax of a drama or novel in which such a resolution or clarification takes place. The outcome of a sequence of events; the end result.
fi·nal·e n. The concluding part, especially of a musical composition.
I'm rather inclinded to Deadly Denouement, because the Baudelaires are slated to go to the Hotel on Thursday. I believe it is Monday now? They still have three days until Thursday, and remember, the last few books have shown tendancies to take place in less than a week. So it is entirely possible that Denouement must wait until the 13th book.
That task Quigley sent them on could interrupt their journey to the Hotel. And aren't all of Olaf's henchpeople stationed at the Hotel anyway?

And aren't all of Olaf's henchpeople stationed at the Hotel anyway? The man with a beard but no hair, the woman with hair but no beard, the freaks and a large number of kidnapped children are currently at Hotel Denouement, preparing to put their sinister machinations into motion.
