OT-If you think the tigers scary, look at this!  That outh to get them scared away! Back on topic- Im lost. I have absolutely no clue about this new book. But Mr.Poe Will make an appearance, Same with Jerome. Lemony will make an appearnace in the last book. The baudelaires will probably find out what VFD stands for too...But remember, the book series doesnt have neither happy begining nor sad ending. Have you any proof that those people will show up. Jerome Squalor = JS does not count as proof. |

Hmmm, well no one has really considered Jerome, so maybe it's possible. But count on Handler to write whatever we would never in a million years suspect.

Hmm..a random thought, but Josephine maybe? She might have a surname starting with S we might not know about. Josephine's maiden surname beginning with S has been speculated on. It's a possibility, and with the references to her and Lake Lachrymose in TGG, the chances of her having survived have increased in my mind. Which doesn't mean that I think she is alive - just that she might be. I like to keep my options open. |

Josephine seems like a very remote possibility. It seems quite clear that she died, but since we don't get a clear view of her death we can't be 100% certain.
Likewise for Jerome Squalor. I can imagine him being an innocent victim of a scheme intended to target Jacques Snicket.
Random side note: Why did Mr. Poe think Geraldine Julienne was JS? The G in her first name is pronounced like J, but I'm not sure how to explain the change of G to S.

That's because I put S when I meant J, and my point was that Mr. Poe took JS to mean Geraldine Julienne because he's a clueless idiot with no idea of what he's getting drawn into. |
