Witholding the title will increase suspense which will increase the likelihood of us jumping out of our skins to buy it or even to buy information on it as soon as possible. It's something of a marketing technique I suppose and it also lets Handler laugh at us as we sit at his feet craving the slightest bit of information.

It's kind of like releasing tgg chapter 1 early and having a cliffhanger at the end. EVERYONE wanted to know who was in that submarine and so they leapt out of their houses and laid hands on the books asap boosting release week sales and all that cal.

One was as yet untitled, the other was the V.F.D. Management Structure leaflet. I've traced this rumour back to one lone fool on a tacky messageboard a few years ago, and believe me, there is nothing to suggest that there is any truth to this rumour whatsoever. While not officially debunked, that rumour has unofficially been well and truly discredited.

I wonder when the title will actually be disclosed. Hopefully soon, although it's fun to speculate. I remember that TGG's cover came out sometime late in June, but I don't remember when the title was revealed and verified. But this isn't quite the same, because with TGG we had the first word of the title as a foundation to build speculations on.

I'd say that's being optimistic. He might not choose to reveal it until August, and only then because people will need to know the title to preorder it and whatnot.

I'd say that's being optimistic Hence I put in two "very"s, and italicised one of them.

;D
I wonder when they'll release page numbers... This has got to be far longer than the others.

I don't know exactly how long the book is but I'm assuming (which are very dangerous things) that it'll be 400-600 pages long to keep me content for at least a few days. But after the twelfth, only one more year to wait! woohoo!

TGG was over three hundred pages(I don't recall the exact number) so I reckon that book 12 will be that long, or longer. Perhaps not 400 pages, but still quite long. Book 13 will be the longest of all, I speculate.

If they follow the pattern yes. And the last book in a series is usually the longest for obvious reasons.

Of course, I think TMM, TVV and TGG were all shorter than the book which came before them.
