I'm surprised that nobody talked about the Remarkable Resort, saying that it's the title.

Hmm, The remarkable resort, I like it, Spunky, yet fragile Yes I know I'm not making sense

With just over a week left, we seem to be getting more and more red herrings. I'm sure the actual title is going to be something so stunningly appropriate, yet stupidly obvious that none of us would ever guess. We're all going to be slapping our foreheads, saying "Of course, why didn't I think of that!"

Most likely. Perhaps it's already revealed somewhere, and we just don't know it yet. We don't have a clue as to how deep this might really go. We're just scratching the surface.

We're all going to be slapping our foreheads, saying "Of course, why didn't I think of that!" Most likely. And I must say that I hope it's not something we've already guessed. That would ruin it...waiting for an exciting new title, and then finding out it was something that had been previously speculated about and presented as a theory.

They're giving us red herrings because we're so excited that we're more likely to fall for them. The theorizing centers of our brains are working at full power, picking up any alliteration as a possible title and interpreting everything clue-like as significant.
I wonder if tomorrow's clue will allude to a scarlet fish, literal or metaphorical, as the one last Wednesday (after we'd seen the Horrid Hotel thing) did.

I also think that the actual title will be something we haven't thought about. After all, Handler knows so much more about the book than we do.

I think the oldest name in the book might be right: The Lousy Lodge.

I've heard of The Lousy Lane, but The Lousy Lodge? That's a new one.

Because he's used Lousy for Lane, I doubt he'll use it again for Lodge.

That's an interesting theory, 1fanbaudelaire, but I highly doubt it. Look back: The Miserable MILL, the Carnivorous CARNIVAL, The Grim GROTTO. All places. It's probably another place. (Excluding TBB from this conversation.)

newbie... here's my theory...its very much like something lemony snicket would do... the title of the 12th book is............ THE NAMELESS NOVEL... why do i say that? because i think its something people wouldnt realize and because he'd probably say something like this book is so tragic and terrible there is no name fitting for it.. etc etc
