I think count olaf will get the sugar bowl from th hotel D and burn it down before the Bauds get there Maybe, but I doubt it. I'm hoping that we get to see the hotel before it's destroyed, and meet the various volunteers assembling there. Maybe Olaf will burn it at the end of book 12, and the Baudelaires narrowly escape. I really hope that we get to find the sugar bowl, or at least learn why on earth that little tea set item is so important. It probably has a coded message inside it, but you never know...

My ending for book 12 is that the Hotel D is burning and the only way out is up. So they go to the roof and the Deux Es Machina swoops down to save the day. Quigly makes it but Olaf grabs Violet by the ankles and drags her down. Hookie grabs Sunny and Esme grabs Klaus. Thus ending book the twelfth.

Yeah..I think Handler's keeping Isadora/Duncan away from the Bauds so we can't find out anything.

But we're SUPPOSED to find out secrets in book 13. It's the last book so Handler needs Isadora and Duncan to tell us SOME important stuff since it'll be book the last.

What I mean is I dont want them to go like: These are the secrets of VFD: blah blah blah I want them to find out in bits and pieces like lemony always does.

We've waited so long for book 13, we deserve some straightforwardness. But I'm sure Lemony will make the process of info giving gradual or slightly vague.

Personally, I'm hoping that book 13 doesn't turn out to be like the "selected answers" section of a math textbook, revealing solutions that take hard work to get. I think that Lemony will give us a few clues that don't seem particularly huge, but in fact tie everything together and resolve the mysteries fairly neatly, leaving only a small degree of ambiguity, just for flavor.

End of Book the Twelfth, in my opinion:
Violet, Klaus and Sunny are rescued (I don't know what from, I'm just theorising) by Hector, Duncan, and Isadora (don't ask about Quigley, I don't know) in the Deus Ex Machina. As they fly away, there's some quality plot exposition time. Then the man with a beard but no hair and the woman with hair but no beard finally catch up to the self-sustaining hot-air mobile home. They introduce themselves, give a bit of information about where they lie in the schism, and then start to burn the s.s.h.a.m.h. The Baudelaires escape in parachutes (I don't know what will happen to the Quagmires and Hector) but they are separated by strong winds. Book the Thirteenth will start with them all being adrift at sea, with Violet separated from her siblings (see the BBRE for more information).

Well, I would say my theory, but it would wreck the ending of my fanfiction The Perilous PlaneI REALLY like your idea, FFWF. Don't mind if I use it? Or something like it,

Well, I still don't think that the Bauds will get to Hotel Denoument until Book Thirteen..(although, I'm most likely wrong..)
A lot of the books are only based over a period of a couple of days...and it's only Tuesday...! So, I think they'll have yet another adventure before getting to the Hotel D...
Then maybe right at the end...they meet up with the secret tellers....and in true lemony style...as they're telling a huge secret, one that holds on the plot together - enter Count Olaf, and his box of matches and thumbtacks...

For now, I'm just gonna put my money on any I word with "Inn" as the last part, or most likely to me, Lousy Lodge.
