im guessing that the next book will start with the letter o.if u look closely on the first letter to the editor u will notice that the letter o is circled.but i know some1 will figure out the next books title soon.

i doubt it will be TZZ or TTT. TTT just looks too weird. Um, these are the Snicket books where talking about is ANYTHING in them NOT weird? I mean, montys reptiles, man eating leeches, hypnotism, entire villages covered with crows, lions eating ppl as an attraction, incredibly aggressive snow gnats and a mechanical, submarine octopus?!?!?! I doubt there is a title weird enough for ASOUE |

Why exactly is Book the Twelfth rumored to be a ZZ? Because somebody who I can only assume is woefully stupid thought that it would be neat and went around saying that he thought it would be TZZ. It's not even a real rumour. Real rumours have no actual source that can be tracked down, yet TZZ was first suggested on this very site. Edit: I've tracked down the real source of the rumour. On the UnfortunateEvents.com messageboard, somebody's cousin tricked them with a fake copy of TGG with an Editor Letter saying that the next book would be "The Z______ Zone." Now, even though that was exposed as a hoax, a bunch of idiots over there still think that the title is TZZ, and they have formed a group declaring that Book the Twelfth is called "The Zucchini Zone." Zucchini is "a variety of squash having an elongated shape and a smooth, thin, dark green rind." Needless to say, I think that everyone at UE.com who believes this theory should be covered in petrol and set alight - while being beaten with planks of wood with rusty nails in them. I simply can't imagine how stupid somebody would have to be to believe this. They'd have to be so severely mentally retarded that they'd have to live in some kind of hospital all their lives. |

It reminds me of the people who went around speculating that Book 11 would be "The Tumbling Towers". For that, I blame something written in a poll comment thing, by someone whose hobby was apparently starting completely silly but undisprovable(at the time) rumors. There was also speculation that book 11 was "The Grim Gameroom", and I am sad to report that for a short time I bought this theory. I remember reading in that same poll comment board thing a rumor that "there would be an evil scientist". There wasn't. The moral is, don't trust random rumors. |
