Hmm, I'm thinking instead of Widdershins being all loud and AYE-ish, he'd be a hypochondriac, or something. Or I dunno. I assumed Aunt Josephine, as she would seem obvious in a water related escapade and mentions to the Anwhistles. Only 17 weeks and 6 dyas to go. woo hoo.  |

Around this time, I'm sure we already had the letter at the back of the book and the publisher's summary of tgg. Not to mention THE TITLE. 125 days... and counting. We had the back-cover letter at this time last year, but it's worth noting that book 12 is coming out a month later this year than TGG did last year, so that information may come along later. |

Yes, but even a month later, we had lots more information in late May about tgg than we do in late june about book the twelfth.

What precisely is the date we're using for the book to come out? Because that's 119 and 117 on just today, and even taking into account time differences, they can't both be right.

I guess it's all in how you look at it.
I don't count today because the day is already here. If you count down to midnight of the day (October 18) then it's 116 days. But nobody is getting the book at midnight so I count the actual day. That makes 117 days.
That's just me. How do other people count it down?

I'm counting today because while this day has started, it isn't over yet. And I doubt I'm getting the book at midnight. So it's 117 days. I was getting confused by other people's countdowns.
