Well, we finally have all three images completed, and one can only assume what they mean. I, for one, think that Mr. Poe is going to die. Clearly one of Olaf's accomplices or someone else has tampered with the elevator, which Mr. Poe enters, and, I believe that he will fall to his death. The splitting rope almost confirms my beliefs. Would this not make sense? Post other theories.

Someone Told me Mr. Poe doesn't have a mustache. It might be Mr. Remora though but i do not think he has a top hat....hmm

I have been insisting myself that Mr. Poe does not have a mustache. Not in the books anyway, and I doubt Helquist would change the way he looks just because of the movie. You can see a picture of him in TWW, and two pictures of him in TGG. I think the person in the elevator is the woman in the first picture. Look at the top hat and mustache on the floor next to her. I think she is using them to disguise as a man.

Perhaps the woman is planning to use the hat and mustache to impersonate the man on the elevator, after she traps him inside the elevator by sabotaging the cables.
I don't think the man is Mr. Poe.

For the moment, we're mainly discussing the images in the main Nameless Novel thread. However, once Mystery the Third starts tomorrow, I expect we'll probably get completely sucked up in that in the main thread, so you can feel free to theorise here when that happens (unless Snicketfires disagrees). Edit: Yes, you may talk freely here now.

Mustaches take too much time to grow. To get a mustache of the size and length shown in the triptich, he would have had to grow one for at least a month, and due to the timeline of the past books, Book the Twelfth will probably only cover 2-3 days time.
I'm with Dairy on this one, it seems much more plausible that the man with the mustache is that woman in disguise.
