I think there will definately be a book the thirteenth, I never doubted it. But anyway I think the extra publicity and hype for this book could have something to do with the movie. Now even more people know about ASOUE they might be trying to get all those people who watched the movie to start reading the books...just a thought

Alright I am going to go back to the first post and prove that person wrong...no offense...but look at the fact that they had that auction on ebay for your name to be put in book 13! hello ring a bell? Handler is already writing book 13 says the harpercollins pplz in the last issue of unforuntate news....so he is not stopping at book 12 even though there is a big deal over it...

I think there definitely will be a Book 13, even if it doesn't turn out to be the climax of the series. It may be more of an epilogue, wrapping things up and perhaps explaining events that went on much later than Book 12.

I can totally see Handler doing that, Josh. You know what'd be interesting? If he ended Book 12 with a really dramatic ending and then never made Book 13.

Then again, I'd have to kill him.
