I've already mentioned both of these - the former in the Countdown thread, and the latter in its own thread in WWriter. I considered making a thread on it, but I didn't think it was a big enough change to merit a thread of its own - although I guess you might want a thread to discuss stuff like that in general, and anticipate when full B12 information is added to the books page, and stuff. That's just my opinion, but I was pretty uncertain, so SnicketFires, could I ask your opinion? Open or locked?

Hmmm... it says TNN will be released on the 16th on LmeonySnicket.com near the bottom. Probably a typo.

Because if so, then that's a reference to the task we had on September 16th, where we had to solve the coded message on LemonySnicket.com's front page. I made the same mistake for a while, though... Or you could be talking about something else which I've missed.

No, no, you're right. I read it wrong.
I should really read the whole paragraph next time before glancing and jumping to conclusions.

It mentions "concerned volunteers are investigating the events of September 16", so they're referring to the day we got the first task of Mystery 3. But I wonder if there are any other "events" they're referring to.

Whatwhatwhat?! There's this thing on LS.com now called The Doomed Dialouge in which Handler makes vague references to Book 12 happenings, claiming it is called "The Ersatz Elevator, mentions a sunbathing spy, arson, and says THE BAUDELAIRES KILL SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy crap, what is going to happen in this book!? www.lemonysnicket.com/event/bookblast.html#danielRead it!

I just got the e-mail about that update, and here's the most interesting part of the interview: "Furthermore I have had to keep Mr. Snicket’s secret concerning his secret collecting of secrecy in absolute secrecy, in absolute secrecy, so that if I even breathed a word concerning this book -- its inhospitable setting, its fraught picnics, its sunbathing spy, its perilous title, its tense spa, its complicated restauranteur, its many bells, its morally ambiguous arson, its arsonous moral ambiguity, its interrupted justice, or even the name of the person killed by the Baudelaires -- I would no longer be able to keep Mr. Snicket’s secret secrecy regarding the secrecy of Mr. Snicket’s secrets, in absolute secrecy, and we could only hope that such unkept secrets could keep themselves in absolute secrecy."

Can anyone find a link to it actually on LemonySnicket.com, rather than a direct link from the e-mail (which I haven't got, no doubt because the world's conspiring against me)? That is one fascinating interview, though. And finally, solid information, akin to back-book information, on B12. Cool.
Edit: Oh, and the notoriously unreliable playwright is George Bernard Shaw.

Clarification-Daniel Handler does not claim Book the Twelfth is called Ersatz Elevator. He's just joking, picking up on accidentally on purpose slackness by the interviewer...

Are Book Blast made-up? I presume so, judging from the questions they ask and the responses they give. And it seems to me perhaps somewhat telling that TEE was the left-out title that was picked up on...
