Pretty impressive, but still no where close to Harry Potter.

Well, statistics like this really don't mean much to me, but if Snicket's book sales are at an all-time high, then I consider that a good thing. Everyone likes their favourite authors to be rich although not so rich that they sell out and stop caring.

We still haven't beat Harry Potter and the last HP book will come out before T?? we might get more people when HP finishes, but then we will be finishing.

Actually, B13 should come out before HP7. B13 should be out late next year, but HP7 won't be coming out until summer 2007, probably.

I guess the bks became more popular with the addition of the movie, I remember nagging my friends to read the books but they said they didn't want to read something so depressing....after the movie's release however they all converted and became snicket fans

Yes I have had that experience. Some of my freinds were sooooo in to HP and I told them that ASOUE was much better and they insisted it wasn't but then they finally caved in and read them and they were hooke dand basically forgot about HP altogether...lol Go Snicket I hope you blow HP out of the water with sales and popularity!

Actually, every single day SUE sales are at an all-time high... each time he sells a new book, his sales reach a new all-time high. It's a pretty meaningless statement.

I am happy as long as sales are at an all time high.
