I think they talked and kissed.Or what if they have to fight off some snow gnats?or a giant bear? Or a annoying crow?

My thoughts were that they just made out  which is real cute. I don't think they would of done "the deed" or whatever slogan you might use. I mean, i don't think there would be much movement up there on the waterfall cliff thing. They would of just talked sweetly to eachother and kiss, it is so romantic |

yes i also agree. if they even tryed to do...um, "the deed" they could fall off. it is slippery. "the slippery slope"

Personally I think something a little more R-rated happened or Snicket wouldn't have zoomed out so dramatically. [...] the youngest person I've seen read the series was my 10 year old brother! I was read TBB and TRR in kindergarten. Continued reading it myself in grade 1. Just had to throw that in 'cause I like attention (or something like that). Umm... back ontopic, regarding Victoria (and those before you with the same general idea): I don't think anything, as you say, "R-rated" happened. Not only does it defy logic (being on a freezing icy slope), but I don't think they would. Even if one points out that plenty of people their age would, I highly doubt Violet and Quigley- particularly the former- would do so. I think they kissed and probably had a private moent to talk, in which Quigley may have said something about his (now obvious) feelings for her and they had a sentimental moment, perhaps talking about what had happened (to VFD, to their families, etc.) Then they watched potter puppet pals. |

They most likely talked about their siblings, since Quigley only
seemed to talk about them.

I know what happened:
-Quigley set her up to tell him about 'crushes'
-Quigley showed his real feelings
-Violet told him that she liked Duncan more
-Quigley was pissed
-Quigley tried to kiss her
-Violet hit him
-He apologized
-Klaus laughed b/c he could imagine everything
-Violet and Quigley were friends
-Violet thought about Duncan
-Then ppl started imagining things
-Then I got pissed
That's exacly what happened. No lie.

It depends on how you look at it, for a long time the Baudelaire's didn't really have anyone until they met the Quagmires. Although there is something called 'love at first sight' and if I was Violet I would be thrilled to have found someone. I think she also knew Quigley was going to be separated from the Baudelaire's and maybe just wanted to enjoy her time with him. I think they just mostly did a kiss, I mean if Klaus gets kissed by Fiona later why can't Violet have a bit of romance?
