I've came across a bit of interesting stuff in TUA. When I was scanning the Index I looked up Beatrice and it told me to go to identity of Beatrice, so I went there and it said turn to page 211. So I did, and it gave me a burnt picture.
Does this mean she died/or was in a fire? We know it can't be Beatrice Snicket because Lemony was apparently in love with her...and u can't marry ur own sister...right?
So, that leaves me with the other two fires we know about: The Baudelaire's and the Quagmire's.

No. I think it probally has something to do with one of the fires, but it was gotten rid of because Lemony didn't want her face revealed. Maybe he couldn't bring himself to show the pic, just like his face in the naval picture of him (where the rip is). Or maybe the picture was detstoryed by a one eyebrowed evil...

oh, u always come up with so many good thoughts...oh well..I can always dream...I thinku have a point...but I still think Beatrice will turn out to be related to the Bs or the Qs. Maybe she is related to the Baudelaires (a fact I refused to believe before), but she's actually Mr B's sister or cousin, as opposed to his wife. |

Olaf could only be related through marraige. Because Esmé might've married Olaf and Esmé and Jerome have to be related to the Bauds other wise Poe wouldn't have put them in their care...so perhaps everyone is related to well...everyone..
Like a link between each character..

No, it said somewhere in TEE that Jerome and Mrs B were very close friends. And I don't think Esme and Olaf have tied the knot yet because she just said that they were boyfriend and girl friend. In TVV, I think. I'd check, but I only have TBB and TWW.

I agree with Souflle. It makes more sense to me....After all, there's a bunch of circumstantial evidence floating around that makes it appear that way and I just don't think DH would hand it out like that. Also, most of the time that those "beatrice" things are mentioned, there is a red herring around. So maybe its' a double red herring (Or whatever you want to call it).

But anyway, yeah, she can't be the Snicket Sister.
Even if one of them was adopted, I still don't think so.
Anyway, he didn't meet her until after he was an adult. (it's in LSUA, somewhere. ) And then he couldn't talk to her for 15 years, or something...and then she died...
brain...addled...what...happens...confusion...

my weird little theory is that beatrice was mr. baud's sister/relative where she would have the last name baudelaire, and then she married mr. quagmire and such. if this theory's true, her initials after she got married would be b.b.q. and that's exactly what happened to her, no?  |
