I'm not sure if we'll see Fernad and Fiona in book the twelfth, but if we do, I wonder if Fiona will be on Olaf's side.

I'm not really sure if this is in the right section. Dante, if you think this should be in Cheerless Characters, feel free to move it.

In my opinion, they're almost certainly going to be back in B12. In my opinion, that makes this a more character-oriented question. If it was more ambiguous as to whether they were going to appear, I'd leave it in Gloom Looms.

As many here do, I think that Olaf and Esmé will bully Fiona, and Fernald will eventually object to the point that he leaves Count Olaf, with Fiona. Alternatively, Olaf may try to abandon Fiona, in which case Fernald will join her.

It should be interesting to see the interaction between Carmelita and Fiona, who are close to being equals in the troupe.

Fiona's general task will probably be to look after the Medusoid Mycelium, and I think she'll generally accompany Fernald.

Olaf said that if Fiona helped him to destroy the last safe place, he'd help her to find Widdershins. I actually believe Olaf, in this instance, and that leaves me not entirely convinced that Fiona and Fernald will be leaving the troupe in B12... Unless Widdershins turns up.

I expect to see Fiona and Carmelita have some interesting arguments; the former will probably get fed up with the latter quite quickly.

If Widdershins turns up, Fiona won't need Olaf's help to find her, and she might leave the troupe to help him.

I think they will be back. Especially since they're in Olaf's troupe now. Unless they quit the troupe before we do see them, which doesn't seem likely.

yeah i agree with you nina, they are gonna be characters of deception in which the reader will not know wether to trust or not...oh and i think fiona will die purhaps with fernald in self-conflict wether to save fiona or stay with olaf...then fernald comits suicide because he let his sister die ....hehehe I know a little too dramatic
