When you see a baby climbing up the side of an elevator shaft with her teeth, you know that there's got to be something up with her. I think that's the most hard to believe event that she's accomplished, but I'm not bothered that it's slightly asway from the usual 'could-actually-happen' thing. I mean, if she was a normal baby, that wouldn't be much fun.
But I don't think that the adult nurse disguise is down to her being an amazing baby: it's more to do with the fact that Olaf's troupe are apparently as clever as they are kind.

She certainly is a "Super-Baby"! She most certainly is!

I would like to be that intelligent person but unfortunately I agree with you...maybe the material they used back in their time was not very strong...maybe clay? or it could be made out of the same material the jail cell was made out of, which could be softened by the fluid from sunny's saliver, *shrugs* unlikely but still I voted for her ability to communicate in anagrams, Japanese and more. No baby I know can do that But this quote puzzled me. "Back in their time?" I always got the impression the books didn't take place in the past. Well, it couldn't be the far past. There are cars and stuff. Anyone have a better idea than me about the time? (Or am I thread-jacking and should go away now! )

I suspect that the brick walls of the shaft had become a bit damp and rotten with age, so you could stick something sharp into the wall if you really tried. Damp and rotten? Sunny would get an infection if enough bacteria built up on that...I guess not though. Handler wouldn't do that. Fencing with her teeth was a rather impossible feat, but climbing the elevator shaft is equally difficult. I'll pick fencing, because of PJ's explanation.

I agree with all the elevator shaft people. That was really a "yeah, right" moment.

How was she able to disguise herself as an adult nurse since the vast majority of adult nurses are much taller than her?

How was she able to disguise herself as an adult nurse since the vast majority of adult nurses are much taller than her? I imagine Klaus holding her up so that her cloak fell down, making her seem larger than she is.

I've moved this to Cheerless Characters (obviously), as it belongs there best.
