I think they will appear. Somewhere in The Grim Grotto being high up in the sky was mentioned by Lemony Snicket, and the Quagmires are only one place: high in the sky. And he said very soon, which can't really mean the 13th book. And besides, since Quigley and Fiona have appeared, there's going to be shipping battles. ;D

Although I'm not much for the shipping battles, I will be glad to see Duncan and Isadora again, high in the air or in the hotel, as such an encounter would tie up a lot of loose ends. And we certainly have a surplus of those.

We better see the Quags in the next book.
Err, I mean, it would be nice if we do see them. I'm fond of them. :>

That's what I took Snicket to mean when he remarked about 'high up in the sky'. If they are, I hope they get in a huge jealous shipping brawl. Maybe not a huge one, but at least a tiny shipping brawl?
Meh. Hopefully Duncan & Isadora finally get to tell them the secret and the meaning of VFD. I know that's pretty much cleared up, but it'd be nice if they would explain.

The Grim Grotto pg. 120: "and, as the Baudelaires would eventually learn, high up in the air." So there you go. ;D

You question-stealer. Oh well, thanks for not making me look it up, anyway.
