Okay, OBVIOUSLY he didn't kill her PSYCHICALLY; because we all know how she died. But if you recall the description of her death in TMM it said bascially when orwell was about to kill Sunny [with her sword] sir walked into the room "and Docter Orwell, turned to him absolutely suprised. When people are suprised they sometimes take a step backward and taking a step backward can sometimes lead to an accident..." So evidently he didn't kill her; but i think there was something going on there. What do you guys think?

I think that you're rambling and not making any sense, or any kind of convincing argument, or even any argument at all.

I think she's trying to say that since we didn't see the moment of Orwell's death, Sir may have killed her. Personally, I think Lemony refrained from describing Orwell's death scene because it's gorier than one is accustomed to in children's books. Okay, OBVIOUSLY he didn't kill her PSYCHICALLY; How can you kill someone non-physically?

Did she step back because Sir specifically walked in, or because she was simply surprised? The answer to that would be the latter. She was obviously just surprised. It wouldn't have mattered who walked in.

She was obviously just surprised. It wouldn't have mattered who walked in. I think Vintage may have been implying that Sir deliberately stepped in to kill Orwell, but that I doubt. Anyone who walked in would have surprised the doctor into stepping backwards, so we can't blame Sir. By the way, why did you stay home today?

And, I wanted extra time to finish a report.

Sir is, like most other adults in the series, a hopeless dolt; but if he wanted to kill Dr. Orwell I'm sure he could have come up with something smarter than stepping into a room and hoping it would cause her to back into the machine.
