Sadly, yes. It's highly unlikely he survived.
EDIT: Oops. He or she...

I'm guessing that zie died, but we didn't really see it, so I don't really know. Zie could come back, I suppose... that would actually be really cool. But it isn't very likely...

Sorry. Ok then here goes. It means: She+He+It=salsa It is just a coincidence that it also is a swear word now, back on topic, it would be really cool if the androgyne came back. Like, for revenge against Olaf for leavin it there...

I bet feminists will be in an uproar because it's being played by a man. They'll all be like "Woman can look like they are of indeterminate gender, too!" But this would be a very strange protest... yeah weird stuff like this is floating in my head constantly.

They totally destroyed him/her in the movie. I used to think that he/she was the most disturbing of all Count Olaf's henchmen, especially because he/she is so huge. But in the movie he/she isn't and all they did was get a guy and put a bunch of weird makeup on him.

Even if I love everything else about the movie, they still did him/her completely wrong, not at all how described in the book.

She/he is still disturbing in the movie - in the Wallpapers on the movie website, she/he looks downright malevolent. She/he is just disturbing in a different way.

He/she is certainly disturbing-looking in the movie, but not in the right way.

He/she is certainly disturbing-looking in the movie, but not in the right way. A reasonable point. I think I'd be more frightened of the book Person of Indeterminate Gender than the movie Person of Indeterminate Gender.

A reasonable point. I think I'd be more frightened of the book Person of Indeterminate Gender than the movie Person of Indeterminate Gender. Agreed. The movie version was not scary at all, and certainly not vast and/or bulky, but Movie Non-Gendered Person was my favorite trouple member. Half Tuxedo and half dress? *loffs that costume*
