I got The Truth Behind ... from the library. Overall, it is semi-interesting, but never seems to go into a lot of depth about the topics it covers. Also, as noted before, none of the information presented gives any insight into the plot, character, etc. of ASOUE that all of us are interested in.
Let me offer some quotes from the author, taken completely out of context:
"I'm not nearly as smart as Lemony Snicket." "I'm just a goofy writer of goofy books."
"..you're reading a truly lousy book written by a miserable author with no skill."
"..I'm a total liar.."
I'm only half done with the book, but those are my impressions. (Also, I would like to see some evidence from chuck that she truly is Lois Gresch.)

I just got The Truth Behind The Series of Unfortunate Events an hour or so ago. But I'm not gonna start reading it until tomorrow.

Yeah, I finished reading it, and I must say, it wasn't very good at all. I found a lot of the things it talked about boring, they didn't make very good connections to the books and all. I'm glad it wasn't my money I used to buy it.
