Ah, that'd be great. Do you think this book'll tie up all loose ends (like DH desperately tried to do in TPP  )? or will it sorta let us figure it out on our own? Cuz there are lots of fans out there who DON'T join forums like this and figure stuff out. Or DON'T know of the site Unofficial FAQ. What does he expect will happen to them? |

i dont think it will tie up all of the loose ends, maybe some, but well probably have to figure stuff out ourselves to. Theyrd be no fun in it if we didnt have to.

Book 13 will probably leave a few things still unresolved. However, there's a book coming out in a few months called the Notorious Notations, which might tie up a few loose ends. When we have that book, I think we'll have a better idea of what to expect from Book 13.

I do hope that the Notorious Notations and the Beatrice Letters tie up some loose ends, since I suspect that B13 will concentrate on only solving the "bigger" mysteries (the mystery of VFD, perhaps Beatrice, Olaf's parents, etc.)
If DH is going to tell us the secret of Beatrice in B13, I wonder how much information we will get on her in the Beatrice Letters.
As for the Book 13 editor letter, I think it will be a note of thanks that the series of unfortunate events is over, and that he hopes none of us has read it all the way through.

I dont think the Beatrice Letters will give out too many important details, it will probably just be a way to pass time before the release of book 13, like thenamelessnovel.com was.

TNNotations is something being released in March of next year, apparently a collection of notations for the books, although at this time we don't really know anything about it.
I don't think we'll get a photo of Handler in the books, either. It'd sort of destroy the mystery, even though we know what Handler looks like.

I think that most of Book the Thirteenth will take place on the SSHAMH. I think that after a chapter or two the Baudelaires will be rescued by Hector and the Quagmires. I don't know how they would get rid of Olaf though.

Maybe Olaf will go with them. It would be interesting to see how he interacts with the other characters aboard the SSHAMH, and how they deal with him, and how he deals with them when he's outnumbered.
